Just a very brief update today as we’ve spent most of the day driving, and there’s nothing exciting to report. We’re parked up in another free aire at Oradour-sur-Glane, near Limoges. Tomorrow morning we will be going to the memorial museum, the Centre de la Mémoire d’Oradour. Didn’t need to look it up, knew about it and it has been on my list of places to visit although I suspect I’ll never get there. Looks a fascinating place to visit, hope the Museum and Visitor centre is good too, I expect there are some stories to be told – hard to grasp how they could do such a thing
Yes it was fascinating. We were there first thing and had the place to ourselves, it felt very eerie. Will upload some pics later.
