Valencia Day One

Yes, we decided to come to Valencia! The aires with electricity between Tarragona and Valencia  are few and far between, and things were going to get tricky without the electric to charge all our gadgets. By coming to Valencia now, we can book the van in to get the USB and plumbing problems sorted sooner rather than later.

It took a couple of hours to drive along the coast. The weather was nice and sunny and we noticed the scenery change to orange trees – thousands of them!

We’re on a great site on the edge of town but close to the metro station. The longer you stay here, the cheaper it gets, so we may well stop here until the Las Fallas festival (15-19 March), and go for days out in the van to the surrounding villages.

Tomorrow we will take the metro into the centre of Valencia for a look around. It will be good to see the town as-is outside of Las Fallas.

Our home for the next little while!

Mike
